She's Baaaack!

Because no matter what happens, I don't think we'll ever get rid of her (and that's a good thing):

Because who wouldn't want to see him bring turkey back?:

Clip of the Day: Solid as Barack

Because there is a part of me that hopes that this is what his infomercial will actually be Wednesday night:

Clip of the Day: Is Oprah Next?

Because it really seems like SNL is pulling out all the stops with these guests stars (and Oprah won't be on SNL but she will be on 30 Rock, which you should all watch):

Clip of the Day: Say Hello to Your Mother For Me

Because aside from Sarah Palin this was the funniest thing about SNL the other night (and I've included the first clip from two weeks ago as a refresher):

Clip of the Day: The Real One

Because I wish she would have done some fancy pageant walking (and I loved the Mark Wahlberg cameo). I've also included the wonderful Palin Raps sketch:

Clip of the Day: It's Funny (and Scary) Because It's True

Because I watched the actual interview this was based on, and it is dead on:

Clip of the Day: Kristen Wiig is Amazing

Because I still believe that she is one of the only good things left on SNL:

Michael Phelps Isn't Funny. Boo.

I will make this a quick note, since I want to enjoy Sunday Night Football, but I've got to say, aside from the Tina Fey as Sarah Palin opening, last night's SNL left a lot to be desired. Phelps was awkward and not funny, which is unfortunate since I think athletes can do a good job on the show (Peyton Manning is obviously the best example of that). I think last night's problems go beyond the host though: many of the skits were also awkward and uncomfortable and not funny. I hope that things improve in the future as I think the current cast has some real winners, with Kristen Wiig and Jason Sudeikis at the top of that list.

Clip of the Day: Lipstick + Global Warming = Hilarity

Because I think we all can agree that SNL is worse for the wear without our favorite sexy librarian (which is why you should all watch 30 Rock):
