Uh-Oh

Reports surfaced yesterday of a production shutdown of the upcoming 7th season of the hit Fox drama 24. Apparently the producers want time to retool the direction of the final 6 episodes of the season. Given the negative reaction the show's 6th season storyline and that 2 years will have passed since the last new episode aired, I'm not sure that this is good news for the how, and there is probably a good chance that this next season will be it's last. On the other hand, the fact that they're acknowledging gives them 4 months to fix any real problems before the first episode airs. I think once the prequel movie airs in November, we'll have a better sense of whether the show is back on its way up creatively or if it is on its way out.
